Carefully get your HP Envy Printer out of the package by using the plastic wrap. Get rid of the Styrofoam and end caps. Open up the Scanner lid and remove the foam sheet and remove the sticker and paper covering the control panel. Take out the blue tape off the printer and open the paper input tray and remove the tape from there . Slide open the paper width guide and close the input tray. Open the top door of the HP Envy Printer and remove the inside cardboard. Make sure there is nothing inside the paper path,it may result in paper jam. Connect one end of the power cord to the printer and the other end to the power outlet. HP suggest to use Wall outlet for better results. Turn on your printer device and set your preferred language,your country and time zone . The Control panel will ask you to install the ink cartridge.

To Install Ink Cartridges, Open the ink cartridge access door and install the ink cartridge that came along with the HP Envy Printer into the carriage. Install tri-color cartridge first on the left side of the carriage and push the lid until it snaps into the place . Likewise,install the black cartridge into the right side of the carriage. Close the Printer and select OK in the HP Envy Printer’ s control panel.
Slide the paper input tray and load a stack of plain white paper into the input tray. Choose Yes to confirm that you have loaded plain white paper and touch done.HP Envy Printer will automatically prints an alignment page,which is important for better output results. You should scan the alignment page to finish the calibration process. Lift open the scanner lid and place the alignment page in the lower-right corner of the scanner bed. Touch ok in the HP Envy Printer’s control panel to scan the page.

Turn on the wireless setup from your control panel ,select wireless setup wizard and it will instantly search for wireless networks. Select your Network name and enter the WEP or WPA password. After entering the password,it will ask you to confirm the settings . Choose OK to confirm the settings and the connection successful message will get displayed.

Apple devices support wireless printing from most of the applications. Turn on your HP Envy Printer and connect it to the same wireless network as your apple device. Open the document,photo,email or web page that you want to print from the apple device. Select a share icon and choose print . Tap Select printer and choose your HP Envy Printer device. Modify the required changes and select print.
